Lisa Schrepfer & Arnold passed Grade 1

ST Mastery student Lisa Schrepfer from Germany passed Liberty 1 with her gelding Arnold and with that Touchstone she passed all 5 Touchstones in Grade 1!

Congratulations!

Lisa has some great insights to share about the Mastery and Evaluation Program, and how it has helped her on her wonderful ST journey:

"My Mum and I have been following Marijke since 2015. In June 2016 we visited Marijke de Jong's weekend near Stuttgart and in December 2016 Arnold and I started the Mastery program.

Arnold came to me as a foal in 1996. I was at the age of 9. He is a quarter horse gelding and he is now 22 years old. All I learned and all he learned in our life, we learned together. He has been ridden classic western and we went to competitions as teenagers. But all the time, especially because of my mum, I am also aware of the important stuff - like bending - in horse training. So I had already known shoulder-in, haunches-in, etc. But with Marijke´s programme, it is so logical and structured that it is the perfect way to teach a horse from the beginning and improve all exercises of an advanced horse.

You get really to know what is the main aim of haunches-in and shoulder-in, etc. Which leg has to step where, which leg is supporting, which is pushing, together with the lateral bending and forward down. And you can learn even more in the online teaching program.

The pdf script and especially for me the online videos in the program are very helpful. Along with the self-study, we took lessons with Carolin Moldenhauer. It is very good to get feedback directly and receive the last final information for filming the touchstones as well.

Now after one year of intensive working, filming all touchstones, getting the feedback from the Evaluation team and receiving lessons from Carolin, I can see clearly the improvement of Arnold and myself. It helps me a lot also with my second horse, Sit.

What I like most is to see how much fun my horses have when I am working the ST exercises with them. And how notably, every exercise is getting easier and easier for them. It makes me proud to see how flexible an willing Arnold is, even at his old age. I am looking forward to our upcoming ST journey!"
