Bloom Where You Are Planted

Life is full of paradox. On the one hand, we can say:
  • "If you don't like how things are, change it! You're not a tree." ~ Jim Rohn

On the other hand, we can say:

  • "Bloom where you are planted."

The latter expression means that we can take advantage of the opportunities we have in the present situation. There are many things we can do to thrive even in circumstances that are not our own free choice. Also, in those positions, we can take risks, make connection, work our hardest, and make the most of each day. Like our potted flowers around the riding arena. They tried to be a positive force from one day to the next, and now bloom to the max:

And our new dog Wolfee, raised by sheep, timid and shy with people, but now blossoms with confidence:

Animals and flowers accept their current situation, and make the most out of what they have. They stay in the present and do not waste time indulging in "what if" scenarios. They are not feeling sorry for themselves or getting bitter. They just try to be better. Even if a flower is planted under some concrete it looks for the crack to find its way out. It chooses to bloom anyways. Instead of expecting the concrete to change, the flower changes its approach.

So don't let things get you down.Choose to bloom anyways!

Let Your Horse Flourish

Maybe you have a horse, or your horse has you. Maybe you've chosen your horse, or your horse has chosen you. Maybe you decided to "plant" your horse with you, or your horse decided to take route with you. For sure, it was meant to be. Also, it's meant to be that you two blossom together. Straightness Training can help you with that. No matter what age, breed, circumstances, background, discipline, or challenges, Straightness Training can help you find balance in body, mind, heart, and soul, for both you and your horse, so your relationship can blossom.
